SouthEast Texas Update, Choice Exploration continues its long term contract with Grey Wolf Rig 840. The company has also contracted Patterson # 23 for several smaller drills in its South East area of exploration. Currently, the success in this area has far exceeded expectations. Choices drilling program in this area has achieved greater than an 85% success rate. Many of the wells not only achieved high sustained natural gas production, but produce oil and or condensate as well. “It’s like having 2 wells in one” says Ryan Davis, Director of Communications for the company. “Not only do we target areas that historically produce high gas to oil ratios, our geo-scientists purposely create a well path that will explore multiple potential pay zones. When you can stack several pay sands in one well bore you get a lot of bang for the buck.” The company has generated and achieved 8 successful wells out of 9 prospects in this area in the last 14 months. Partners with Choice Exploration in this area include Chesapeake Energy, LLog Exploration, and Zachry Exploration.
South Texas Update, Live Oak County, Texas. Choice announces the successful flow test of the Dobie Main Prospect from its Vicksburg/ Anna Rose 3-D data set. All Subsequent prospects, Dobie 2, Dobie 3, and Dobie 4 were also successful. Dobie 1 and 3 are currently in sales with Dobie 3 and 4 awaiting pipeline connection. Choice is gearing up to drill its Red Raider Prospect in the data set later this spring. The current track record in this area has been 100% successful.
